The grant will be available to motivated physicians under the age of 45. The fellowship will be 1-WEEK OR 3-MONTH IN SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL ORTHOPEDIC CENTERS. Eligible ASIA members and finishing fellows are encouraged to apply.

ASIA FELLOWSHIP PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS TO FELLOWS:

• Additional experience in surgical techniques for orthopedic surgeons who is professional in arthroplasty

• Sponsorship from ASIA- $1500/month ($500 for the 1-week fellowship) 

• Obtain clinical experience from the professional network of Arthroplasty Centers in the different regions

• ASIA Fellowship certificate upon the completion of fellowship program

• In addition, the host center may expose the awardee to clinical research project.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

• Either a MD or PhD degree or eligible for either degree, must reside in/practice in the Asia-Pacific region

• Applicant if not already an ASIA member, should become ASIA membership before receiving their award

• 45 years of age or younger at the time of application

• Proficient in English, written and spoken

ASIA FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The fellows are able to visit a selected world famous medical centers for 1-week or 3-months. Any time-change without prior agreement from ASIA Continuing Education Department is not acceptable.Fellows are supposed to obey the rules of study centers and finished observing, clinical or research mission if needed.

*Please note that fellows are supposed to visit medical centers from either Asia & Pacific or Europe & North America.

POST FELLOWSHIP

Upon completion of fellowship, the fellow has to submit the following document within 30 days:

Meeting and possibly a manuscript for publication ARTHROPLASTY based upon the work done during your Fellowship

Please note that sponsorship will be canceled because of violation of ASIA fellowship program requirement.
